Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about the Arbio I Dehnhaide Apartments? The name sounds way more intimidating than the actual place. I mean, I spent five minutes trying to pronounce “Dehnhaide” correctly before giving up and just calling it “that apartment hotel with the complicated name” when telling friends about it.

But honestly, this place gets the apartment-style accommodation thing really right. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner – we’re talking proper apartments with kitchens you’d actually want to cook in. The living spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing after staying in cookie-cutter chain hotels. I actually found myself hanging out in the living room area instead of just collapsing on the bed after long days exploring. The 4-star rating feels spot-on; it’s polished without being pretentious, and you can tell they’ve thought about the little things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.

What really sold me was how quiet it gets in the evenings – you’d think apartment-style places would be noisier with people cooking and moving around, but the soundproofing is surprisingly solid. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly formal front desk theater you sometimes get. The staff genuinely seemed to know the area well (always a good sign), and they pointed me toward some spots I never would’ve found otherwise. That 8.3 rating makes sense when you factor in the value proposition – you’re getting way more space and functionality than a regular hotel room for what feels like a fair price. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with fancy lobby chandeliers or doormen in top hats, but if you want a comfortable base that feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a hotel, this place nails it. Just maybe practice saying the name a few times before you call to make a reservation.

  The location was good close to a subway station and above a supermarket so easy access to groceries. Clean apartment with a modern look.
  
  What could be improved: There was a bad smell from the bathroom drain so had to have the bathroom door closed all the time and unpleasant when using the bathroom.

  The location to the train, supermarket, and laundry was excellent. We enjoyed having great kitchen facilities and the comfortable beds. The apartment was more than spacious enough for our family of 4.
  The apartment was secure, which was a big plus.
  Even though we were so close to the train line and a main road, the apartment was nice and quiet.
  
  What could be improved: We didn't like that it was hard to get hold of someone with regards to the state of the bathroom floor, which was quite mouldy and made the apartment smell. In the end, I bought some mould cleaner and scrubbed the floor myself.

  What could be improved: there was nothing I didn’t like about the apartment however as a suggestion I would have appreciated a standing fan as the outside temperature was over 30 degrees and the rooms got quite warm at night

  Light, clean, comfortable beds, nice large bathroom and super terrace.
  
  What could be improved: No instructions for TV which was useless as we could not adjust the volume. I asked the management but they never responded.

  Great location, just by the U-Bahn with 15 mins to the town hall. The apartments seem to be recently renovated, and they are really well equipped. The check-in process was really simple, and easy.
  
  They have an app to open doors and use other stuff at the apartment, which was a first for me, but overall really cool!

  What could be improved: It was a bit difficult to find the entrance, but that is not a problem at all.

  Lovely spacious apartment, tastefully-decorated, clean, with large comfortable beds, very quiet but right next to the U3 underground station, and with a good supermarket next door too. Everything necessary for cooking etc provided
  
  What could be improved: No non-stick pans provided in the kitchen (induction hob) so anything fried sticks to the pans.
  Other than that, everything was excellent!
