Hotel Description

You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from the name “Arbio I Makro Apartments” – honestly sounds a bit corporate, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s one of those spots where the 4-star rating feels earned rather than inflated, and that 8.6 guest score makes total sense once you spend a night or two there.

The apartments themselves have this really nice lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. I mean, you can tell they’ve put thought into the layout – the kitchen actually has counter space you can use (revolutionary concept, I know) and the living areas don’t feel like afterthoughts. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even when the building’s pretty full. The walls must be decent because I barely heard my neighbors, which honestly can make or break a place like this. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space too, not just in one random corner of the living room like some places I’ve stayed.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward standing around while they figure out their system. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, and they’re helpful without being pushy about local tours or restaurant recommendations. I got the sense they actually care about the place running smoothly. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which around here can be a real headache depending on the time of year. The whole setup just feels more relaxed than your typical hotel experience – you can spread out, do laundry if you need to, grab groceries and actually cook something decent. It’s especially great if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to feel less like you’re living out of a suitcase. The location works really well too, though I won’t pretend it’s in the absolute heart of everything – but honestly, that’s part of what keeps it peaceful and lets them maintain that quality without charging resort prices.

  The best ever location! Metro literally 1 min away! Super quiet, extremely well-equipped, modern apartment. Check-in experience was the best ever. Great job! I might return to Hamburg just to enjoy the place – it was so good!

  What could be improved: Unfortunately, the quality of customer service is well below the standard we expect from a property of this caliber. A simple request for an invoice has turned into a time-consuming and frustrating process. Not only was there a significant delay, but the invoice was also sent to the wrong address. As a result, I’m currently unable to process my reimbursement—purely due to their failure to handle a basic administrative task properly. This level of service is simply unacceptable.

  • Clean, well-maintained apartment in a newly renovated building.
  • A dedicated office where the host company's employees were always available for any questions. They were always friendly and professional.
  • Convenient private parking. We were happy to have our cars safe behind a gate during the New Year's night madness 🙂
  
  What could be improved: In Apt. 4 we would sometimes run out of hot water after one person takes a shower, not ideal for a large company.

  The location was very close to the train station, very spacious, clean. Comfortable beds. Everything you need in the kitchen, in the bathroom. White, soft and large towels. The location is close to shops, restaurants, very easy to get to the airport or to the center.

  Very close to anywhere. Clean and comfortable room. Payment process was not comfortable, I needed to go to their app and finish payment. This should be stated in the Booking page.

  Comfortable and roomy, great location with easy access to transport and supermarket. Quiet despite nearby train station.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing in particular… would be helpful to have guidance on using induction hob for those unfamiliar.

  Very modern, nice, clean and comfortable place. Easy check in/check out. The place has everything it needs apart from a washing machine (not sure if there is any in the building). I have booked the studio and having access to the balcony was amazing. They are very responsive through the messages. You also have the option to book a late check out, towel replacement or a deep cleaning.
  
  What could be improved: Not necessarily things I didn’t like but it would’ve been nice:
  
  – to have one bottle of water in the room (I arrived on Christmas Eve, and everything was closed by the time I got there, and I had to then find a place from where I could get some water); an air freshener for the toilet and a cleaning solution for the bathroom (for a day it is alright, but when you stay a few days, these would be helpful)
  
  – to have showers checked; mine was clogged with hair from previous customers and my bathroom got flooded 🫣 Luckily someone from the staff was there on Christmas Day and came with a wiper.
