Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Business Apartment Kranich,” I wasn’t expecting much. These extended-stay places can be pretty hit-or-miss, you know? But this three-room setup in Langenhorn actually surprised me. The location is what really makes it work – you’re literally minutes from Hamburg Airport, which sounds terrible until you realize how convenient it actually is. I mean, if you’re doing business in Hamburg or need a launching pad for exploring northern Germany, this spot is kind of perfect.

The apartment itself feels more like someone’s actual home than a sterile hotel room, which I really appreciated after staying in too many identical chain places. You get three proper rooms to spread out in, and honestly, that makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. The kitchen is actually functional – not just some sad mini-fridge and hot plate situation. I made coffee there every morning and it felt normal, not like I was roughing it. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, and with a 9.4 rating, I’m clearly not the only one who noticed. What surprised me most was how quiet it is despite being so close to the airport. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional plane, but it’s not the constant roar you’d expect.

Langenhorn gets overlooked by most tourists, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re not fighting crowds for everything, and there’s this authentic Hamburg neighborhood feel that you miss when you stay in the city center. The public transport connections are solid – you can get downtown easily enough when you want to, but you’re also perfectly positioned if your business is actually in the northern suburbs or if you’re heading to Schleswig-Holstein. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Hamburg will tell you is not something to take for granted. The whole experience just felt refreshingly uncomplicated. It’s not flashy or Instagram-worthy, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need – a clean, comfortable base where everything works like it should and you can actually relax.

  Beautiful and stylish newly renovated apartment. We travelled 3 grown-ups together and the way the apartment was setup, we actually got a room each (one then sleeping in the living room). Host was so friendly and helpful. Easy to find parking (on the other side of the station it’s unlimited and free).
  Everything you need is literally just around the corner. We almost didn’t hear any airplanes, so don’t worry about that. Well equipped apartment (kitchen, bathroom, living room). Warm and nice. If you want to live outside the city center, this can really be recommended.
  
  What could be improved: I could imagine that it could be noisy if you needed to have the windows open all night, as it’s a busy area outside (train station and markets) but you hear absolutely nothing with closed windows.

  The flat smells very clean. It feels new, everything is high quality and it is perfect for families. Only two minutes from the u-Bahn Station with a direct train to the city center.
  There are multiple stores – Kaufland, Edeka and also DM.
  
  Bonus for people who enjoy planes – from the windows you can observe planes landing. But there isn’t any noise.

  Spacious and fully furnished appartement. All stuff was completely new. We found parking across the street without any problem. And, communication with the owner was quick and friendly

  Wunderschönes Appartement, es hat hier an Nichts gefehlt. Super eingerichtet, modern und gemütlich. Betten hervorragend, Küche und auch das Bad mit Allem was man braucht. Die Schlüsselübergabe über einen Schlüsseltresor mit Code hat problemlos geklappt.
  Die U-Bahn Station Langenhorn Markt ist direkt gegenüber und man ist mit der Bahn in ca. 20/25 Minuten in der City. In direkter Nachbarschaft bekommt alles was man so braucht (EDEKA, DM, Kaufland, Obst und Gemüse direkt im Haus, Apotheke…) Auch Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es einige, teilweise auch kostenlos in ca. 100 Meter Entfernung.
  Alles in Allem hatten wir einen perfekten Aufenthalt in Hamburg auch Dank dieser schönen Wohnung.
