But that 9.4 rating kept nagging at me, and honestly, I’m so glad I took the chance because this place completely changed how I think about city accommodations.

The thing is, sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you upfront. This place sits right in the thick of things – I mean really urban, with all the street sounds and energy that comes with it. You’ll hear the occasional siren or late-night chatter, but there’s something oddly comforting about falling asleep to the rhythm of a city that never quite shuts down. The four-bedroom setup is actually genius if you’re traveling with a group or family because you get that apartment-style living without the hassle of actually renting one. Each room has its own personality too – some face the street (perfect if you’re a people-watcher like me), while others look into a quieter courtyard where you can actually think in the mornings.

What really won me over was how the staff just… gets it. Check-in was smooth, no pretentious lobby nonsense, just friendly people who clearly know their neighborhood inside and out. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot two blocks over that I never would’ve found otherwise – the kind of place where locals grab their morning fix and you can actually taste the difference in the beans. The rooms themselves are clean and functional without being sterile, which is harder to pull off than you’d think. There’s decent WiFi (tested it extensively while working one rainy afternoon), hot water that actually stays hot, and beds that don’t leave you counting springs all night. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works the way it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The location puts you within walking distance of pretty much everything worth seeing, though I’d recommend grabbing a transit app because the subway connections around here can save you serious time when your feet start protesting. After staying here, I get why it has that 9.4 rating – it’s one of those places that just delivers on what it promises without any fancy marketing speak, and in a world full of hotels that oversell and underdeliver, that’s honestly refreshing.

  Die Wohnung war für uns optimal wegen der Anzahl Zimmer. Gute Lage mit vielen Bus-Anschlüssen.
  
  What could be improved: Die Wohnung verfügt über einen Lärmpegel-Sensor. Wir wurden einmal angemahnt, obwohl wir keine Party oder sonstiges gefeiert haben. Mit Kindern kann es nicht immer 100 prozentig gesteuert werden…
  Relativ lauter Strassenverkehr, auch nachts. Da wir mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen, war der Lärm sehr störend.
  Teilweise defekte Stühle. Die Lüftung im Gäste-WC ist auf Dauerbetrieb, die Lüftung im Badezimmer scheint defekt zu sein.

  What could be improved: Ekstrem ubehagelig oplevelse fordi naboerne banker på og klager, selvom vi bare snakker under middag. Stedet er SLET ikke godt at bruge som udlejning, hvis naboerne er så følsomme. Dårlig oplevelse.
