You know what struck me first about this place? It’s honestly bigger than you’d expect from the photos – and I mean that in the best way possible. The Great Three Bedroom Apartment sits in one of those neighborhoods where you actually feel like you’re living somewhere, not just passing through in tourist mode. I walked in and immediately thought, “okay, this is where I’d want to stay if I were here for more than just a quick weekend.”

The space itself has that lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. Three proper bedrooms, which is actually rare – most places calling themselves “three bedroom” turn out to have one real room and two glorified closets with beds shoved in. Not here though. Each room has decent natural light, and the main bedroom gets this nice cross-breeze in the evenings that honestly saved me from cranking the AC all night. The kitchen is where this place really wins you over – it’s set up like someone actually cooks here, with proper counter space and all the little things you don’t realize you need until you’re trying to make coffee at 7 AM (decent coffee maker, by the way, not one of those pod machines that taste like plastic).

The building itself is solid, maybe not Instagram-perfect but definitely the kind of place where you sleep well. I barely heard the neighbors, which was a pleasant surprise given how thin walls can be in some apartment rentals. Parking was straightforward – there’s usually spots on the street, and the host actually knows which blocks to avoid during street cleaning days, little details like that. The whole area has this authentic feel to it, you know? You’ll find yourself walking to the corner market instead of hunting down some overpriced hotel convenience shop, and there’s something really nice about that. I mean, sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but sometimes you just want a place that works well and doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a showroom. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be perfect, it’s just trying to be genuinely comfortable, and it pulls that off really well.
