What struck me was the attention to practical details — proper lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and blackout curtains that actually work. Each room is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity.

The on-site restaurant serves solid regional cuisine that doesn’t try too hard to be fancy — just well-prepared dishes using local ingredients.   Everything is perfect! We are very much enjoying our stay. Unfortunately the weather not so good,we can not stay longer and experience the farm around. but we definitely would like to back again!

  It is a super calm and nice countryside place in the close proximity of the city. Perfect for switching off after a long tour in the city.
  The place is very nice, clean and extremely spacious. Super kind and helpful owners and beautiful authentic building and rooms.

  It was perfect choice to be out of city and daily life and spend some quiet and cosy time there.

  Rooms were ultra clean, host was helpful and friendly.
  Area is calm and close to Bergedorf, there is a Rewe 7minutes by car.
  Host adviced some breakfast options nearby.
  Recommend with a car. You can bike and canoe nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom was private yet outside of the studio.
  The sauna and the hot-tub were extra €20 and €150.

  Absolutely loved Hausdeich. The apartment was even better than we expected. Such a gorgeous environment to stay in. The village surrounds were beautiful, and the buses just a minute up the road made it easy to get around. We visited Neuengamme, as well as Molinas Cafe (windmill cafe) and easily accessed Bergedorf and Hamburg for day trips. So nice to be staying outside the large cities, yesterday still super convenient. I was also studying, so the wifi connection was important – and wifi worked well for us. The best bit was the owner was wonderfully welcoming, and even gave us tips of which buses to take, and cafes and walks around the local area. We had a really great visit,and I'd absolutely recommend this place to visit.

  This guest house was on a working farm. Fresh cut flowers and other culinary treasures across the lane at the self serve farm stand. Our host was very nice and sent us locations of the local market and cafe. This was a last minute booking for us and would rather stay in a guest house then a hotel.

  What could be improved: Some confusion regarding the key which the host instantly sorted out. Any trouble was solved instantly.
  
  The road is right by the house, so not appropriate for letting young kids play outside on their own if you choose the larger house apartments.
