You know what hit me first about Hotel Rosengarten? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there – there’s this gorgeous rose garden tucked behind the main building that most people probably walk right past without noticing. I mean, I almost did too, but I was jet-lagged and wandering around looking for a quiet spot to make some calls, and honestly, it became my favorite little escape during my stay.

The hotel itself has this solid, understated vibe that screams quality without trying too hard. It’s a proper 4-star place, and you can tell they’ve been doing this for a while – everything just works the way it should. Check-in was smooth (they actually had my room ready early, which never happens), and the staff has that genuine helpfulness you don’t always get at bigger chains. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed – not flashy, but every detail feels intentional. The beds are seriously comfortable, and the bathrooms have this great rainfall shower that I may have lingered in longer than necessary. One small thing that impressed me: they have these heavy curtains that actually block out light completely, which is gold if you’re dealing with time zones or just want to sleep in.

Location-wise, you’re in a sweet spot where you can walk to the main attractions without being in the middle of tourist chaos. I found myself coming back here between sightseeing just because it felt like a proper retreat. The breakfast situation is solid too – not one of those sad continental spreads, but actual variety with local touches that change day to day. There’s this little bar area that gets surprisingly lively in the evenings, nothing crazy, just a nice buzz with locals mixing in with hotel guests. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (they have a small lot that fills up), but the front desk folks always seemed to have a solution. The 8.6 rating it gets makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect – close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed, with very comfortable beds and a great minibar. Every detail is so thoughtfully taken care of – and that truly made us feel welcome and relaxed.
  
  We especially appreciated the dog-friendly amenities, which made our furry friend feel at home too. The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful park nearby was perfect for morning walks.
  
  It’s the kind of place you instantly fall in love with – and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We know we’ll be returning here again!

  Very friendly people, super clean room and a very comfortable bed.
  Very green outside and quiet. Nice garden view.
  Super clean bathroom and good water pressure in the shower with a shower head high enough for a tall person to fit under.
  
  What could be improved: Parking situation a bit complicated if there are more than a few guests with cars. But it was absolutely solvable.

  I was on business trip and it was quite near.
  Very kind owner: got complementary jam made by his wife.
  Facility is very clean and has everything you need.
  
  What could be improved: This room was the only one that has its private bathroom outside of room.
  It was not such a problem.I knew for that and owner was very kind and offered another options but I kept initial one as it was more affordable.
  Separate bathroom was very clean and for my personal use.
  Nice thing was that you could find slippers (for single use) and bathrobe.
