You’re about 20 minutes from Hamburg’s city center here, which means you get the best of both worlds — easy access to the main attractions without the downtown noise and crowds. The Bergedorf area is pretty residential, so you’ll see actual Hamburg life happening around you. There’s free parking right at the hotel, which is honestly a huge relief if you’re driving — anyone who’s tried to park in central Hamburg knows what I mean. The S-Bahn connections are decent too, so getting into the city for sightseeing is straightforward enough.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and functional — think modern business hotel rather than boutique charm. The beds are comfortable enough, and the bathrooms are updated with good water pressure (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in some German hotels). The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re well-designed with enough space to spread out your stuff. What I appreciated most was how quiet everything was at night — the location really pays off when you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep. Each room is thoughtfully appointed for a restful stay.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast setup here is actually pretty solid for a three-star place. They do both continental and buffet options, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety — good German breads, decent coffee, fresh fruit, and the usual suspects like eggs and cold cuts. The restaurant area is bright and spacious, though it’s nothing fancy. You won’t find any local specialties or anything particularly memorable, but it definitely gets the job done and sets you up well for a day of exploring Hamburg. The dining experience is reliable and satisfying.

  What could be improved: If you are here because you came to Hamburg, the hotel is far from the City. The location is not bad if you have a car. If you come by an electric car, there is nowhere to charge it in or near the hotel.

  What could be improved: When I came, they redirected me to another hotel because this is full, allthough ordered via online booking. Have to drive 10 km to another hotel. They should have gave some discount for this but did not offer any. Towels were not completely dry.
