The shower has decent pressure, the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with a crick in my neck, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living in a closet. I mean, sure, the décor screams “functional over fabulous,” but when you’re paying 3-star prices and getting a whole apartment setup, it’s hard to complain. The kitchenette was surprisingly useful too – just a simple setup with a fridge, stovetop, and basic dishes, but perfect for grabbing groceries and avoiding those overpriced hotel breakfast buffets every morning.

What really sold me on this place was the location, though the listing just says “citynah” which is… well, typical German understatement. You’re actually within walking distance of the main shopping areas, and I found myself just wandering around in the evenings because everything felt so accessible. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning rather than just other tourists dragging suitcases around. Parking was easier than I expected for a city-center spot – there’s street parking nearby, though you’ll want to read those German parking signs carefully (learned that one the hard way). The 7.1 rating makes sense to me because this isn’t the kind of place that’ll blow you away, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re the type who needs marble bathrooms and turndown service, keep looking. But if you want a clean, practical base for exploring the city without breaking the bank, and you don’t mind that slightly institutional vibe that comes with simple furnishings, this apartment does the job really well.

  We received an email with a description of where to pick up the key. The apartment is very nicely divided and in our case perfectly furnished for a single or 2 night stay.
  
  What could be improved: But after that there was no description of how to get into our apartment or parking. So we had to ask the neighbors for advice. In the backyard there were chickens, which started at 4.30 making noise. It was perhaps not the funnest start to the day.

  Unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken und Wohnung war komplett ausreichend für ein Wochenende zu 7. Sehr zufrieden für den Preis. Kommunikation mit dem Inhaber auch unkompliziert und schnelle Antworten.
