But you know what? Sometimes the places with the most straightforward names turn out to be exactly what you need, and this little spot really delivers on that promise.

The thing about souterrain apartments is they can go either way – either you’re stuck in some dreary underground cave, or you luck out with something that feels more like a cozy hideaway. This one’s definitely the latter. Sure, it’s technically below ground level, but the windows are positioned well enough that you don’t feel like you’re living in a bunker. The space has this clean, minimalist vibe going on – think IKEA showroom but actually livable. The bed’s comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough storage that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The kitchenette is compact but functional – I mean, you’re not going to be hosting dinner parties, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling cramped.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re right in the thick of things. Being below street level actually works in your favor here because you avoid most of the traffic noise and late-night foot traffic that can drive you crazy in city accommodations. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around or confusing key pickup situations that seem to plague so many rental properties these days. And look, I’ll be honest about the downsides – the ceiling height isn’t going to win any awards, so if you’re particularly tall you might find yourself ducking occasionally. The bathroom’s on the smaller side, though everything works well and the water pressure’s actually pretty decent. But here’s the thing that really sealed it for me – that 9.5 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense. You can tell someone actually cares about maintaining this place. The details are right, from having enough electrical outlets where you need them to keeping the space genuinely clean (not just surface-level tidy). For the price point of a solid 3-star place, you’re getting reliability and comfort without any of the pretentious bells and whistles that jack up costs elsewhere. It’s the kind of spot where you can actually relax after a long day of exploring, rather than feeling like you’re just camping out somewhere temporary.

  Sehr netter Kontakt. Einfache und unkomplizierte Buchung, sowie Check-In. Mein Kollege hat sich in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet . Wir haben schon mehrfach diese, und auch die andere Unterkunft des Gastgebers gemietet. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen!
