Couples seem to absolutely love it here (apparently they rate the location 9.4 out of 10), and after spending a few days exploring from this base, I totally get why.

The Room Experience

My room had this perfect balance of classic elegance and modern comfort — think rich fabrics and thoughtful lighting rather than flashy tech everywhere. The windows are well-insulated, which matters more than you’d think given Hamburg’s bustling streets, and the beds are genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable). What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains, decent parking options nearby, and little touches that show they actually think about what adult guests want for a relaxing stay.

The breakfast buffet is honestly pretty solid — nothing groundbreaking, but they do it well with quality ingredients and enough variety to keep you happy for several mornings.   The breakfast was good. The selection of food and the service was amazing. I did think it was a little expensive for a hotel buffet however.

  The location was excellent, just a few steps from the Binnenalster and from one of the best Subway/bus stops. Very nice suite, very nicely furnished and spacious.
  
  What could be improved: Depending on whether you get a room at the front, and if the weather is warm enough that you'd want the windows open – the front-most room is on a busy street which is fairly noisy late in the evening/night.

  The staff was a complete mixed bag Cristian and Sophie were amazing, thank you and the others seemed a little grumpy. Cristian helped me with my car then started singing opera with the most incredible voice, complete highlight. He is amazing and so helpful 🙂

  Needed a hotel room that was clean and functional, the room size was large with a large bathroom which contained a bath with a rain shower, spa soaps, body scrubs, body creams and a vanity kit. There was plenty of wardrobe space, desk, other furniture and mini bar with coffee machine, bathrobes and slippers. The decor of the room was very traditional (which although I prefer super modern) the room was great and bed was very comfortable. This hotel is situated next to the main hotel building, so it give the feel of staying in an apartment rather than a hotel, very quiet.
  
  What could be improved: nothing as the hotel fit the purpose of what I needed. I did not use any of the other hotel facilities as I ate out due to the location being near the cafe's, restaurants and bars.
