You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name sounds all fancy and German, but honestly it’s just a really solid apartment rental that happens to be in the perfect spot if you’re doing Hamburg properly. I mean, when they say “nähe von HBF,” they’re not kidding around – you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Hamburg’s main train station, which is actually pretty clutch if you’re hauling luggage or planning day trips.

The thing about staying near the Hauptbahnhof is that most people assume it’s going to be sketchy or loud, but this area has really cleaned up over the years. And here’s the kicker – you’re also close to the Alster, which is honestly one of Hamburg’s best-kept secrets if you’re not from here. I’m talking about those morning walks around the lake when the city’s still waking up, maybe grabbing coffee from one of those little stands that locals actually use. The apartment itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in some sterile hotel room. It’s got that lived-in comfort without being messy, if that makes sense – clean but not intimidatingly perfect.

What really sold me on this spot was how easy it made everything else. You can walk to the Speicherstadt (those red brick warehouse buildings everyone posts on Instagram) without dealing with public transport, but you’re also connected to literally everywhere else in the city via the U-Bahn and S-Bahn right at HBF. I actually ended up using the apartment as a proper base camp – ducking back between exploring St. Pauli and the fish market, or when I needed a break from all the tourist stuff around the harbor. The 9.6 rating isn’t some fluke either; whoever runs this place clearly gets that little things matter. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually worked, and there weren’t any of those weird quirks you sometimes get with apartment rentals (you know, like having to figure out some impossible shower setup or dealing with paper-thin walls). It’s three stars, sure, but sometimes three stars that actually delivers beats five stars that disappoints, especially when you’re spending most of your time out exploring Hamburg anyway.

  de locatie was super en het is heerlijk dat er een parkeerplaats en een balkonnetje is. De straat is levendig en gezellig druk maar daar heb je in het appartement geen last van.
