You know what? I went into this place with pretty modest expectations – I mean, “Spacious Apartment in urban location” isn’t exactly the most inspiring name, right? But honestly, sometimes the places with the most generic names end up surprising you the most. This three-star spot sits right in the thick of things, and when I say urban, I mean you can literally hear the city humming around you. Not in an overwhelming way, though – more like that background energy that reminds you you’re somewhere that actually matters.

The apartment itself lives up to its name, which is refreshing because half the time “spacious” means you can spread your arms without hitting a wall. Here, you actually get room to breathe. The living area flows nicely into a kitchen that’s got everything you need if you’re the type who gets tired of eating out every meal (and let’s be honest, your wallet gets tired too). I particularly loved the windows – they’re these big things that let in tons of natural light during the day, though you’ll want to figure out the curtain situation if you’re not an early riser. The neighborhood gets going pretty early, which is either charming or annoying depending on your perspective and how much coffee you’ve had.

What really sold me on this place was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The furniture’s got some character – not fancy, but comfortable in that lived-in way that makes you want to actually use it. And the location, well, that’s where things get interesting. You’re close enough to walk to most places you’d want to go, but far enough from the main tourist drags that you feel like you’re getting a glimpse of how people actually live here. There’s a little café down the block that does incredible coffee (the kind of place where regulars have their usual orders), and I found myself stopping there every morning. The 7.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s solidly good without trying to be something it’s not. Sure, the building’s got some age on it and the elevator makes this slightly concerning whirring sound, but that’s part of the charm, I guess. If you’re looking for marble lobbies and concierge service, this isn’t your spot. But if you want space to spread out, a real neighborhood vibe, and the freedom to come and go as you please without feeling like you’re living in a hotel, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  Gute Ausstattung der Küche, saubere Betten und spitzen Lage zur U3 und zur Außenalster. In der Wohnung kann man abends nochmal gemütlich zusammensitzen.
  Bei einem Problem mit der Dusche wurde uns sehr nett und zügig geholfen.
  
  What could be improved: Es wird nicht deutlich, dass eins der Zimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist, dass nur durch eine Falttür getrennt wird.
  Das Bad hat zwar Tageslicht aber kein öffenbares Fenster nach draußen. Dadurch gibt es eine Lüftung, die durch eines der Zimmer läuft und sehr laut ist.
