You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from sylc. Apartmenthotel when I first walked up – the name’s a bit of a mouthful, honestly – but this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s one of those serviced apartment setups that gets the balance just right between having your own space and getting proper hotel service when you need it. The lobby has this clean, minimalist vibe that doesn’t try too hard, and the staff at check-in were refreshingly straightforward about everything – no fake enthusiasm, just helpful people who clearly know their stuff.

The apartments themselves are where this place really shines. I mean, after staying in cramped hotel rooms for years, having an actual kitchen counter where you can spread out your stuff feels like luxury. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either – decent-sized fridge, proper stovetop, and they actually stock it with real plates and glasses, not those flimsy plastic things some places give you. The living area flows nicely into the bedroom space (well, in the studios anyway), and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of a suitcase the whole time. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays – you’d think with all the coming and going of apartment-style living it might get noisy, but the soundproofing is solid. I hardly heard my neighbors, which is saying something since I’m usually a light sleeper.

Here’s the thing about serviced apartments – they live or die on the details, and sylc actually sweats the small stuff. The WiFi doesn’t drop out every five minutes, the air conditioning responds when you adjust it (revolutionary, I know), and housekeeping comes by regularly without being intrusive about it. The building itself feels secure without being fortress-like, and there’s something refreshing about having a proper front door key instead of those hotel cards that demagnetize if you look at them wrong. At 8.4 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and honestly, I can see why. This isn’t the kind of place that’ll wow you with marble lobbies or infinity pools, but if you want somewhere that feels like a temporary home rather than just another hotel room – especially for longer stays – it delivers on that promise without any fuss.

  Very well equipped amd spacious apartments. Comfortable bed. Available coffee and tea at the room. Fully equipped kithen.
  
  What could be improved: The breakfast had great variety but it gave us the impression that fruits and vegetables were not that fresh. Maybe it was made ready from previous night. We were a little bit disappointed.

  Modern and clean room with a nice bath and small kitchenette. Very convenient location to go to concerts at the Barclays Arena Since it's less than 15 minutes by foot to the train station / shuttle bus !

  It was an exceptional experience, there were also bikes on hand to rent out right outside the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely amazing while the staff were all able to adequately answer all our queries promptly.

  What could be improved: Very noisy outside, synthetic (hot) bed cover, no personal thermostat or air conditioning, lack of electric charging poles. The staff was ok.

  it is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay about a week. The heating is perfect, the showers and the bed is comfortable, nothing is old and teared in the room I stayed.
  
  What could be improved: I especially chose this place for the good internet, but when I most needed it, that day, it was not working at all although the IT team checked it one or couple of times. After that it was working smoothly.
