What I really appreciated was how quiet these places stay, even though you’re right in the thick of things in Hamburg. The building itself seems well-insulated – I never had issues with street noise or neighbors, which can be hit-or-miss with city apartments. Check-in was straightforward (none of that confusing key-hiding nonsense some places pull), and the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than a typical hotel. The 8.9 rating makes total sense because honestly, it’s hard to find fault with much here.   Lovely location. Neat and tidy with plenty of room for 4. Washing machine was very handy.

  Great location and allowed us to store our bicycles. Staff were fantastic especially as we arrived early due to our flights changing. Fantastic location in a very hip area full of cafés and restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: The fact it was on street level and if you have to have the windows open at night you can hear people walking past.

  Great little apartment, perfect for the 4 of us on a short stopover in Hamburg. Fantastic location – lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Public transport walkable. Our arrival was delayed but great communication for picking up the key. Can recommend.
  
  What could be improved: Only negative is that the apartment fronts directly onto the street and people can stop outside chatting on their phone. There is however very little footfall passing by so think just got unlucky with a loud, vocal individual!!

  Great place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood in Hamburg. Communication with the host was smooth and the key handover and check-in procedure was very simple. The flat had everything we needed for a short-term stay and was comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: While it wasn't a problem for us, it should be noted that the apartment we rented is split across two floors – ground floor and basement. The staircase to the downstairs bedrooms is quite steep, so it wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues – unless they sleep on the bed-sofa upstairs.

  Very cute flat in a great location — close to public transportation, shops and restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: Below ground bedrooms and bath sometimes smelled a little funky when it was raining — though a humidifier was installed. This smell dissipated when it wasn't damp outside.

  Basic but decent and everything you need. Good fridge, good shower, cooking facilities, hot water, warm apartment to come back to. Location is great. 5-10 mins to shops, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and public transport – perfect for our trip.
  
  What could be improved: Little improvements would be make it better – a double duvet for the double bed and a few more homely soft furnishings. The stairs are steep so be careful if you've had a few too many drinks
