You know what struck me first about Waterfront Riverside Premium Suites? It’s actually got that boutique hotel feel even though it’s part of the ORY Living group – which honestly surprised me because chain properties can feel pretty cookie-cutter. But this place has some real personality to it, and that 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve spent a night or two here.

The suites themselves are genuinely spacious (not that fake “spacious” you see in hotel marketing), and I mean the kind of space where you can actually spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – like, you could actually cook a real meal if you wanted to, not just heat up leftovers. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even with the riverside location. You’d think there might be more ambient noise, but the windows do their job well. The beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t feel like you’re sinking into quicksand or sleeping on a rock – honestly, I slept better here than I do at home most nights.

The riverside setting is where this place really shines, though. You’re right there on the water, and depending on which way your suite faces, you either get those morning river views or you’re looking out toward the city side. Both have their charm, actually. The waterfront area gets pretty lively during evening hours – lots of people out walking, joggers, couples on benches – but it dies down nicely after dark. There’s something really relaxing about having coffee on your balcony in the morning and watching the river do its thing. The staff here actually knows the area well too, which is rarer than it should be. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot about a five-minute walk away that I never would’ve found otherwise – the kind of place where locals grab their morning brew before work. Parking was straightforward, no hunting around for spaces or dealing with valet confusion. Check-in was smooth, though I’d say avoid arriving right around 3 PM if you can help it – that’s when everyone shows up and the lobby gets a bit chaotic. The elevator situation is fine, never waited more than a minute or so. If you’re the type who gets particular about hotel cleanliness, you’ll be happy here – everything felt properly maintained without that over-sanitized smell some places have. Four stars feels about right for this property, maybe even conservative. It’s got that premium feel without the premium attitude, if that makes sense.

  Had a great stay at this Waterfront apartment. Location is quite unmatchable, the place is clean, comfortable and has a great view. It was easy to check-in and Roy was very friendly, helpful and understanding with us. I would definitely recommend for short or longer term stays in Hamburg.

  Sehr schöne Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung, fehlte an nichts.
  Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, direkt erreichbar. Optional besteht die Möglichkeit auf einen Parkplatz. Die Lage ist super, es lässt sich alles fußläufig oder mit der U3 um die Ecke entspannt erreichen.

  Perfekte Lage für einen Trip in Hamburg, Alles in der Nähe , trotzdem sehr ruhig. Gute Ausstattung, alles sehr sauber. Check in problemlos, sehr netter Vermieter.
  Haben immer im „ Butterbrot „ gefrühstückt- grad unten am Eingang, sehr zu empfehlen.

  Sehr saubere und modern eingerichtete Wohnung in top Lage. U-Bahnstation direkt um die Ecke und auch die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten befindet sich im direkten Umfeld. Check-in/Check-out liefen problemlos ab. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter!
