You know what surprised me most about the Aparthotel am Golfclub Treudelberg? It’s actually tucked right into this gorgeous golf course setting that feels worlds away from Hamburg’s hustle, even though you’re still technically in the city. I mean, when I first pulled up, I wasn’t entirely sure I was in the right place – it’s got this quiet, almost residential vibe that’s totally different from your typical hotel experience. The whole property has this understated elegance thing going on, and honestly, the 4-star rating feels pretty spot-on. Not flashy, but everything just works really well.

The aparthotel concept is perfect here because you get proper living space – like, actual kitchenettes where you can make coffee without those terrible pod machines, and sitting areas that don’t feel cramped. The rooms have this clean, modern German design aesthetic (think lots of light wood and neutral tones), and the beds are seriously comfortable. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stays, even when the place is full. You’re surrounded by all this green space from the golf course, so there’s none of that urban noise you’d expect. The staff is pretty low-key but helpful – they know their stuff about the area and can point you toward some great local spots that aren’t in the tourist guides.

Here’s the thing though – you’ll definitely want a car if you’re staying here. It’s not exactly walking distance to much beyond the golf course itself, but that’s kind of the point. The location works best if you’re either here for golf (obviously) or if you want a peaceful base for exploring Hamburg and the surrounding area without dealing with city center chaos. I found the whole setup really relaxing, actually – there’s something nice about coming back to this calm, green environment after spending the day in the city. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed, but it nails the comfortable, well-run aparthotel experience in a really lovely setting.

  Everything about the property was good, clean & regularly maintained.
  The staff in particular like Amela, Dennis and Gabriella were very warm, welcoming and friendly.

  This property is located in the perfect location for me. It is in a pleasant quiet rural setting with lots of parks and forest walking opportunities nearby. It also has a nice swimming pool!
  
  What could be improved: The facilities are getting a bit tired feeling, but it is still all in good condition and functional. So, it is not a problem for the great price.

  Always love its perfect location and value for money. Comfortable beds. Large garage for parking. Electric car charger. All wonderful.

  We prepared our own meals, since there was a kitchenette with all amenities, or ate out.
  Used the Steinberger Hotel's pool and sauna a no extra cost.
  2 washing machines for 2 Euros each for 1 cycle and 2 dryers for 1 Euro for 1 cycle are easy available if not used by other guests. Drying racks are also available. However you must have your own washing tabs.
  Location is a bit far out, but still easy accessible. There are 2 separate buses that pass by the Hotel. Bus stops are 3-5mins walking distance.
  Very friendly receptionist and cleaning service :-).
  
  What could be improved: The reception area for the apartment section needs to be more clearly identified from the outside/parking area.
