You’re literally on Königstrasse, which puts you close enough to the action but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The couples who stay here aren’t wrong when they rave about the location (they gave it an 8.9, which is pretty impressive). You can walk to the Elbe River in about ten minutes, and getting to the main train station is straightforward. Plus, there’s actual parking at the hotel — and if you’ve ever tried to park in Hamburg, you know that’s worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d want from a well-run three-star — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything worked properly. Nothing fancy, but nothing felt cheap either. The windows actually open (always a plus), and the bathroom was modern enough that you don’t feel like you’re stepping back in time. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details — good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that, well, actually black out the room.

Breakfast Worth Getting Up For

You know what surprised me? The breakfast spread was genuinely impressive for a three-star property. They’ve got the full continental setup, but they also cater to pretty much every dietary preference — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options that don’t look like afterthoughts. The buffet setup flows well (no awkward traffic jams around the coffee station), and they keep everything well-stocked even during busy morning hours. I actually found myself looking forward to breakfast, which doesn’t always happen at hotels in this category.

  It was clean, modern and with easily accessible parking lot. Room size was good, with more than enough space for 2 people. Access from the parking to the room is straightforward. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  Hotel staff was great, location to the Reeperbahn and subways was perfect. Check in was quick and easy. Room was comfortable, AC was sufficient. Room and bathroom were both very clean. We even were able to have a later checkout which was super helpful.

  This hotel is right at the start of the Reeperbahn (Altona end) in St Pauli, expect to see a few adult only facilities about and the area does have an Ibiza feel. The hotel was very close to the tube so handy for getting around. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. This hotel was just a bit pricey but in a great area if you are looking for fun and close to the port for very good restaurants!
  
  What could be improved: The hotel was a bit pricey and this didn't include breakfast. Also it is at the start of a adult area which we didn't realise though we got over that.
