You know what really struck me about FeWo Parkblick HH Schanze? It’s one of those places where the name actually tells you everything you need to know – and honestly, that’s rare these days. The “Parkblick” isn’t just marketing speak; you actually do get these lovely park views that make you forget you’re in the middle of Hamburg. I mean, the Schanze area can get pretty hectic (especially on weekends when everyone’s bar-hopping), but this spot feels like a quiet pocket away from all that chaos. The apartment itself has this really solid, well-thought-out vibe – you can tell someone actually lives in this neighborhood and knows what travelers need. There’s proper blackout curtains (thank god), and the kitchen is stocked with things you’d actually use, not just random gadgets that look good in photos.

What I really appreciated was how the place handles the whole “5-star apartment” thing without being pretentious about it. The furnishings are genuinely nice – I’m talking comfortable bed, good water pressure, reliable WiFi that actually works when you need to video call home. But it’s not trying too hard, you know? The Schanze neighborhood is perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Hamburg rather than just visiting it. You’ve got the Schulterblatt right there with all these little cafés and shops that locals actually frequent, and the park (which you can see from the windows) becomes this nice little escape route when you need to decompress. I spent quite a few mornings with coffee just watching people walk their dogs and joggers doing their thing – it’s surprisingly peaceful for such a central location.

The 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s not just about the apartment being clean and well-equipped (though it definitely is) – it’s more about how everything just works smoothly. Check-in was straightforward, the place stays quiet even though you’re near some pretty lively streets, and parking… well, let’s just say it’s Hamburg, so don’t expect miracles, but the host gives you actual useful advice about where to leave your car. I honestly think this place works whether you’re here for business or just exploring the city. The Schanze gives you that authentic Hamburg feel without being too far from the touristy stuff if that’s your thing. Plus, you’re close enough to the Reeperbahn for a night out, but far enough away that you won’t have drunk people singing outside your window at 3 AM. It’s that sweet spot that’s hard to find in most cities – central but livable, upscale but not stuffy.

  Quiet and nice clean apartment, fairly close to the train station and supermarket. The price is excellent if you are with a larger group.
  
  What could be improved: Keep in mind that noise isolation of the building is poor, remaining quiet in late evening is a requirement.

  Amazingly well maintained and equipped apartment in a quiet district, near several U-Bahn stations and good markets. The host was warm and friendly. We loved the chocolates and flowers, and the children enjoyed the home cinema! .

  Excellent location with transport very near and plenty of places to eat. At the same time very quiet area. Very spacious living area, third bedroom on smaller side but still good. The outside garden was a brilliant addition and very welcomed. Bathrooms with great showers. Good communication with owners so felt like nothing would be a problem.
  
  What could be improved: Deco is bit mismatched but that’s a personal taste. Pillows and mattresses should be probably renewed and the downstairs bedrooms can get stuffy, but opening windows helps (we’re group living in far north so not used to warm weather 😉)

  Dank Türcode muss niemand auf den anderen warten. Für 6 Personen ist dort mehr als genug Platz und dank 2 Badezimmern ist auch immer eines frei. Das WLAN ist schnell und die Wohnung liegt nah an der U-Bahn-Station.
  
  What could be improved: Die Tür im unteren Bad schleift etwas auf dem Boden, das kann nachts unerwartet laut werden, wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist.

  Super gemütlich und für jeden etwas dabei. Beamer mit Streamingaccounts, Garten, Grill, Sauna, Whirlpool, gemütlich, super gelegen und der Knaller, eigener abgeschlossener Parkplatz mitten im Schanzenviertel im Preis dabei.

  Besser geht nicht! Originelle, großzügige Wohnung mit toller Ausstattung! Total zentral im Schanzenviertel. Reeperbahn und St. Pauli fußläufig zu erreichen. Eine Vielzahl von Bars, Shops, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gute Anbindung an mehrere U-Bahn und S-Bahn Linien… im Sommer ist sicher die Terrasse ein weiteres Highlight. Unbedingte Empfehlung… und super netter Kontakt zum Host!
