When you see “2 bedrooms for up to 11 guests,” your first thought is probably bunk beds everywhere and chaos, right? But this place actually pulls it off without feeling like a hostel situation. The layout is surprisingly thoughtful – I mean, someone clearly designed this with big groups in mind rather than just cramming beds wherever they’d fit.

What really struck me about staying here was how it manages to feel spacious despite housing nearly a dozen people. The common areas don’t get that cramped, stepped-on feeling you usually get with large group accommodations. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters when you’re trying to feed a small army and don’t want to blow your budget eating out for every meal in Hamburg (trust me, it adds up fast). You know what I appreciated? The bathroom situation isn’t a disaster – there’s actually enough space and facilities that you’re not queuing up like it’s a music festival. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places that over-delivers on expectations without being fancy about it.

The neighborhood vibe is solid, though I should mention you’ll want to check exactly where you’re landing since the address wasn’t super specific when I booked. Hamburg’s got these pockets that feel completely different from each other – some right in the thick of things near the Reeperbahn, others more residential and quiet near the Alster. Either way, the public transport connections are generally reliable (the U-Bahn and S-Bahn system is honestly pretty forgiving for visitors), so you won’t feel stranded. I’d definitely recommend this spot for groups that want to split costs without sacrificing comfort – think family reunions, friend trips, or maybe colleagues in town for a conference who actually like each other. The three-star rating is spot-on; it’s not trying to be luxurious, but everything works properly and the space feels well-maintained. Just manage expectations accordingly and you’ll probably leave pretty happy with the whole experience.

  Great cleanliness, comfortable and well-groomed apartment; helpful, friendly and easily reachable personnel. Also, coffee from the coffee machine was indeed delicious. Everything perfect!

  Die Lage war sehr gut – Anbindung an den ÖPNV in 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Kaffeemaschine ist topp. Da die Wohnung nicht direkt an einer Straße liegt, ist es nachts ruhig.
  
  What could be improved: Die Wohnung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Lichtschalter gehen nicht, das Waschbecken tropft, die Lüftungsanlage klappert bei Wind. Die Küche bietet das Nötigste.

  Großes Apartment mit allem was man braucht. Die Lage und Anbindung ist super. Self Check-In klappte gut. Wir hatten eine Frage zum Check-In und konnten sofort jemanden erreichen. Es wurde sehr schnell geholfen. Alles sehr sauber!
  
  What could be improved: Ich würde nicht unbedingt für einen längeren Zeitraum dort bleiben, da es sehr wenige Fenster gibt und vor allem die Küche sehr „traurig“ wirkt.

  11 sovepladser! Ha! Øvrige faciliteter var under ingen omstændigheder til 11 personer. Umuligt at tilberede en middag.
  Der manglede køkkenudstyr (samt viskestykker/klude). Kun ét lille toilet/bad, hvor køen hurtig ville blive lang… ingen gulvmåtte i badeværelset, ekstra håndklæder. Dobbeltsenge overalt, men ikke mulighed for plads til 11 i dagligstue eller køkken. Godt vi kun var 4, men heller ikke her var forholdende optimale.
  
  Belysning: spots i de høje lofter var ikke videre hyggeligt.
  Der var kun ovenlysvinduer i de to soveværelser hvorfra kondens dryppede.
  
  Kaffemaskine fungerede ikke. Vi måtte foretage en 'fiktiv' afkalkning. Måtte Google en brugervejling til maskinen.
  
  Et værksted/garage indrettet som feriebolig uden vinduer burde ikke være tilladt.
