The beds here are genuinely exceptional — and I’m someone who’s pretty particular about sleep quality when traveling.   The location is very good with great walks around the Alster and good views, although a short distance from the center of town.
  The room was large and comfortable and very clean, if a little tired.
  The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made my stay more enjoyable.
  The buffet breakfast is good with plenty to choose from but €43!
  
  What could be improved: The bar on the seventh floor was closed for special functions both nights.
  I can't get over €43 for bacon and egg for breakfast.

  location of the breakfast is amazing – the massive glass windows on the 9th floor allow for a breathtaking view of the Alster – it couldn't be a more beautiful view of the Hamburg.
