Hotel Description

You know what? StellaStudio totally caught me off guard. I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name, I was expecting some sort of trendy-but-sterile place with concrete walls and uncomfortable furniture. But walking in, it actually feels more like staying at your design-savvy friend’s apartment, if your friend happened to have really good taste and knew how to make a small space work perfectly.

The whole place has this understated confidence about it. I mean, it’s officially a 3-star property, but honestly, they’re doing way more with less than some of the flashier hotels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are compact but clever – everything has its place, and there’s this attention to detail that you don’t always see. Like, the lighting actually makes sense (you can read in bed without squinting), and the shower pressure is surprisingly solid. The staff seems to genuinely care about what they’re doing too, which makes such a difference. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling, just friendly people who seemed happy to see me.

What really won me over was how the place feels lived-in rather than showroom-perfect. The common areas have this relaxed energy – you’ll see people actually hanging out there with coffee or working on laptops, not just rushing through. There’s something to be said for a place that gets the fundamentals right without trying to be everything to everyone. The neighborhood vibe seeps in just enough to make you feel like you’re somewhere real, not in some hotel bubble. Honestly, with a 9 rating, other guests clearly get it too. It’s one of those spots where you end up staying an extra night just because leaving feels like too much effort – and I mean that in the best possible way.

  Really nice apartment in the quiet area, free parking at the street. Not too far away from Zoo and Hamborg football stadion (HSV)

  Everything was as described with this accommodation. It was in a good location (approx. 10-15 min walk from the U-Bahn), the apartment was a nice size with everything we needed for four days in Hamburg. The host was very contactable / responsive to messages, there was free parking outside the apartment, and the facilities were spot on (great shower, good size cooking area, comfy bed / sofa bed, etc.). I would have no problem recommending this place to friends / family.

  Ein relativ neues und schickes Unterkunft. Tolles Ambiente, sehr sauber. Ruhiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Gerne immer wieder. Sehr nette Gastgeberin.

  Wohnung hat alles was man benötig (Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 5 min. Fussweg. Sehr nahe an der Bushaltestelle (2 Haltestellen von der S-Bahn entfernt).
