Hotel Description

You know what surprised me about Suity-Centrum? The name honestly made me expect some bland business hotel, but this place actually has character. I mean, it’s a solid 3-star spot that punches way above its weight – there’s a reason it’s sitting at a 9.2 rating, and it’s not just because they have decent Wi-Fi.

The suites here are what really got me. They’re not huge, but whoever designed them actually thought about how people live. The kitchenette isn’t just for show – you can actually cook a proper meal without bumping into the bed every time you turn around. The living area has this worn-but-comfortable leather couch that I’m pretty sure I saw three different guests claim as their office for the day. There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be Instagram-perfect but just… works. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too – I was expecting typical hotel thin walls, but honestly couldn’t hear much from neighboring rooms even during what seemed like a busy weekend.

What really stands out is how the staff operates. Check-in was quick, sure, but they also seemed to know their regulars by name, which tells you something about the kind of place this is. I overheard the front desk guy giving genuinely useful local advice to another guest – not the touristy stuff you get at most hotels, but actual neighborhoods worth exploring. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work; my suite was spotless every day, and they even figured out my coffee preference without me saying anything (small touches like that stick with you). Look, it’s not luxury – the lobby furniture has definitely seen better days, and the elevator makes this quirky humming sound – but there’s something authentic about staying somewhere that feels lived-in rather than sterile. For the price point, especially with how much space you get in the suites, it’s honestly hard to beat. If you’re the type who values substance over flash, and you want a place where you can spread out and feel at home rather than just crash for the night, Suity-Centrum delivers in ways that surprised me.

  The apartment was great. It had everything you need (in the bathroom and in the kitchen and bedroom). We were greeted with coffee and tea, which meant a lot to us. The cleanliness of the apartment was excellent.
  
  It should be noted that we stayed in February, when the temperatures in Hamburg are low, the apartment was warm, there was no need for extra blankets, and the apartment was worm when we arrived
  
  It is great that we could enter with a code, and we did not have to worry about the keys.
  
  It is located in a very quiet part of the city, and public transport is a 5-10 minute walk away.
  The walk to the city center is about 40 minutes, which we recommend, because you pass through areas where there are a lot of restaurants and shops.

  The property felt very new and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and decently sized!! There was even salt and dishwashing essentials, so I didn't need to buy anymore. There were metro stations nearby. And the location felt safe and was relatively quiet. Check-in and the keyless entry system were super easy to use. There is a Rewe supermarket just around the corner (2-minute walk). The closet had plenty of hangers (~20) available. There is a self-service laundry nearby (8-min walk) that accepted card payments (SB-Waschcenter Balla-Balla on Google Maps). The heating system (radiators you can adjust) was adequate for winter in February (reached -1ºC outside). Wifi was fast and had no issues. It's perfect for a solo traveller who wants to save money on food by cooking. Two might be okay, if you're not spending the whole day inside.
  
  What could be improved: Consider adding a hand towel for the kitchen instead of just paper towels. It would've been nice to have a toaster/over (but the microwave was also great!) to easily heat bread. The shower area in the bathroom was a bit small, but does the job. Consider adding a shower shelf for guest's personal soap/shampoo. But none of these were dealbreakers. My stay at the property was still great!

  Super ausgestattet, sehr sauber, problemloser Ablauf. Supermarkt (Rewe) in direkter Nähe. Kaffee und Tee werden gestellt.

  Unterkunft ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar von der U-Bahn-Haltestelle Lübecker Str.; problemloser Self-Check-Inn mit vorab versendetem Zahlencode wie gewohnt vom Hostel Centrum (ist derselbe Betreiber) ; das Appartement ist komplett renoviert; kleines, schönes Badezimmer im Eingangsbereich, der Wohnraum ist gut aufgeteilt- Küchenzeile – ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht, Esstisch mit Barhockern und es gibt sogar eine Nespresso Maschine, Trennwand zum sehr bequemen Doppelbett und großer Flatscreen- da bleiben keine Wünsche offen und alles sehr sauber-weiter so!

  Ich war etwas überrascht, dass alles kontaktlos abgewickelt wurde. Aber es hat alles gut geklappt und mir hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen und ich würde bei meinen nächsten Besuchen immer wieder zu erst versuchen diese Unterkunft zu buchen.
