You know what struck me first about Boston Hotel HH? It’s got that perfect balance where you feel like you’re staying somewhere nice without all the stuffy pretense of those five-star places that make you afraid to touch anything. The lobby actually feels lived-in and welcoming – not like a museum showcase.

I mean, with an 8.4 rating, you’re getting solid four-star comfort without any nasty surprises. The rooms are honestly what you’d hope for – clean, well-maintained, and they’ve clearly put thought into the little things that matter when you’re tired from walking around Boston all day. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are modern enough that you don’t feel like you’re staying in someone’s grandmother’s house from 1987. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – you know how some city hotels seem to amplify every street sound? Not an issue here.

The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to figure out the best way to get somewhere or need dinner recommendations that aren’t just tourist traps. They’ll point you toward the spots locals actually go to, not just the obvious Freedom Trail stuff (though that’s great too, obviously). Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward waiting around while they “find your reservation” that happens at some places. And here’s something I didn’t expect to care about but totally did: the elevators are fast and don’t make weird grinding noises at 2 AM.

Look, Boston Hotel HH isn’t going to change your life or anything, but it does exactly what a good hotel should do – gives you a comfortable, reliable base while you’re exploring the city. You’ll sleep well, start your day properly, and not spend your vacation budget on overpriced room service just because you’re afraid to venture out. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax after a long day of walking cobblestone streets and climbing Bunker Hill Monument. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  We booked the family room, which was extremely spacious.

  Wonderful hotel, with wonderful comfortable and quiet rooms, comfortable bed. Breakfast is not included in the price, but it is definitely worth having breakfast at the hotel. My family and I enjoyed staying at Boston hotel.

  Wonderful breakfast – wide selections: Crispy bacon, waffles, coffee selection made for you, freshly squeezed juice. Nothing was missing here.
  Rooms were huge and had a huge bathtub. Nice with a balcony as well.
  Neighborhood is real nice and it is close to the great area of Sternschanz with great restaurants, boutique shops etc.

  Extraordinarily spacious room with a huge closet and a very comfortable bed and a big window front.
  Continental breakfast was good, but pricy (25€ p. p.).
  
  What could be improved: Brining a dog is allowed (which is great!) but it was pretty pricy. We had a small, non-shedding, potty-trained dog with us, incl. it's own food bowl, bed etc. but were still charged a whopping 25€ for it per night.
