  Wir sind als Familie mit dem Flugzeug + Mietauto zum Elbcottage angereist und können die Unterkunft mehr als nur empfehlen! Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und verbindet Moderne ideal mit Tradition. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als überdurchschnittlich – uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, obwohl wir mit unserem 13 Monate alten Sohn angereist sind. Die Küche ist durchwegs mit Miele-Geräten ausgestattet und es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht – sogar Backpapier, Geschirrspültabs etc. lagen bereit. Für unseren Sohn wurde nicht nur ein Babybett bereits gestellt sondern auch ein Kinderstuhl, ein Badecape sowie Decke und Kopfpolster. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist bestens – parken kann man kostenfrei in der gesamten Umgebung und es handelt sich um ein sehr ruhiges Viertel. Die Schlüsselübergabe findet mittels Schlüsseltresor statt – den dementsprechenden Code erhält man ein paart Tage vor der Anreise per E-Mail. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und ist jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Da die Vermieter-Familie direkt daneben wohnt, sind auch persönliche Rückfragen jederzeit möglich. Alles in allem waren wir total begeistert von der Unterkunft und wir werden bei unserem nächsten Hamburg-Besuch jedenfalls wieder das Elbcottage wählen.

  Eine sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, die Vermieter haben hier an alles gedacht, zum wohlfühlen und wiederkommen.

  Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und es war wie nach Hause kommen. Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Fernseher bietet problemlos die Mediathek, die Küche ist modern und perfekt ausgestattet, es gibt genügend Schrankraum. Im Duschbad stehen Shampoo und Flüssigseife einer Luxusmarke. Sogar die Dusche ist hervorragend, was in Ferienwohnungen eher selten ist. Die Lage ist sehr gut, wenn man gern in den Elbvorortrn wohnt, so wie wir. Abendspaziergänge an der Elbe, 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, runden den Tag wunderbar ab. Wir freuen uns schon aufs Wiederkommen und wünschen den Gastgebern alles Gute.
  
  What could be improved: Für uns war es etwas mühsam, das Gepäck die sehr enge Treppe zum oberen Stock hinauf und später wieder hinunter zu tragen. Aber das lässt sich nicht ändern, ist der Architektur geschuldet. Man sollte es nur wissen, weil es bei älteren Menschen problematisch sein könnte.

  Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr schön und ruhig gelegen, gute Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Elbe fussläufig schnell zu erreichen mit schöner Promenade.

  Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war super freundlich und unkompliziert.
  Die Lage für uns ideal bezüglich der Möglichkeiten zum Spazieren an der Elbe und der Ruhe in der Nachbarschaft für unser mitreisendes Enkelkind. Alle Wünsche für unser Baby (1 1/2 Jahre) wurden super erfüllt.
  
  What could be improved: Draußen zu frühstücken wäre eine schöne Option, noch dazu bei dem sehr schönen Grün. Aber das ist nur eine winzige Anmerkung.

  The Elbcottage is a labour of love and it shows in every detail. The kitchen is well appointed and everything you might need is provided. Coffee machine, Nespresso machine and water kettle. A starter stock for the Nespresso machine is also available. Towels are plentiful and more provided if needed. The beds are very comfortable and pillows in all sizes available. The amenities are Molton Brown and set the tone of the standard in this lovely cottage. Even a shoe horn and a shoe polishing cloths has been thought of. Parking is available in the street and the S-Bahn station a 10 minutes walk away. The little village is just a hop and step from the door and has Pharmacies, Bakeries, a small supermarket, Cafes and a well frequented ice cream shop. There are also several restaurants. Busses go down to the ferry Teufelsbrueck from the main street.

  Bright, excellent location, clean, nice neighbourhood, close to train station, facilities with full complement of cutleries and cooking utensils and nice shower. A really good size and comfortable apartment for 2 people
  
  What could be improved: duvets were a bit on the thin side in view of the weather -5c, and should be made of natural materials such as cotton fillings and pillows probably should be upgraded to natural latex/foams for a more comfortable sleeping experience rather than using artificial synthetic materials.
