  The room was very nice and clean. Very friendly front desk staff and very helpful. Very nice location. Everything went very smoothly upon check-in. Beautiful swimming pool. Nice view from the room
  
  What could be improved: The food in the restaurant was tasty, but unfortunately a very limited menu. This is a minus for multiple overnight stays.
  Perhaps also provide extra towels for a visit to the wellness area.

  The location is quiet and there is always parking available for free. In Germany especially, on booking you see so many hotels show that they have parking to only find they want another 20-30 Euro a day for parking so sad.
  
  All the staff in the hotel and restaurant are exceptional and most helpful with anything you need. I have never had a rude or bad experience here.
  
  When it comes to the restaurant, the food prices are a bit higher, but the food that is served is well in line with this. Anybody who has taste will enjoy the restaurant.
  
  What could be improved: Like I said in a previous review, the rooms required some renovation. On this stay, we were able to see renovations to the hotel were underway. So this hotel will be a nice place to stay again when it is done.

  Nice hotel in a historic, old building. Easy parking, great on-site restaurant, superb breakfast, very quite and nice location near a large park. Would definitely stay there again.

  Kind and helpful staff! The facility is bigger and more beautiful than the pictures online 🙂 with a beautiful typical north-german thatched roof ("Reetdach"). The fitness room is better than a lot of commercial gyms!!!! Comfortable bed and nice room!

  It was lovely and quiet in a nature location right on the Oberalster. Great atmosphere. Staff were friendly. We arrived late at night and needed a taxi to get there from the railway station.
