The breakfast is simple but really well done (their coffee is surprisingly good), the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, and there’s this little courtyard area where people hang out in the evenings that feels genuinely social. I watched this group of business travelers end up sharing travel stories for hours out there. The location works perfectly if you want to feel like you’re in a real Hamburg neighborhood rather than tourist central – you’ll walk past actual bakeries and corner shops, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. For what you pay, especially with that 8.4 rating reflecting what other people have experienced, it’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right without any unnecessary fuss.
